Festival season is here, as us festival addicts like to say! Kicking off in the beautiful Miami, Florida here are 7 awesome electronic music festivals to attend this year.<\/p>\n

1) Ultra Music Festival \u2013 Miami, Florida<\/h3>\n

There may be more that one Ultra Music Festival<\/a>, but nothing compares to attending the flagship one in Miami. Occurring during Miami Music Week, Ultra has grown into a massive festival attracting people from all over the world. What once was a music conference is now the place where DJ\u2019s debut their latest tracks for all their fans. As the saying goes, \u201cHear it here first\u201d.<\/p>\n

Dates:<\/strong> March 24-27, 2017<\/p>\n

Average Ticket Prices:<\/strong> $350 (GA 3-day ticket)<\/p>\n

Expert Advice:<\/strong> Make sure to bring cash for water ($5\/bottle Yikes!) and book tickets to the clubs well in advance if you plan on attending after parties. South Beach hotels sell out quickly, or become way overpriced. Consider staying on a beach property off South Beach if you want to save $$$.<\/p>\n

\"7<\/p>\n

2) Middlelands \u2013 Todd Mission, Texas<\/h3>\n

A new addition to the festival community, Middlelands<\/a> is a renaissance inspired EDM festival from Insomniac. Debuting for the first time this Spring ’17. Come party like Kings and Queens for 3-days and court dance to top name DJ\u2019s, or live like barbarians and just go crazy! The festival offers renaissance themed rides, dancers, and glamping packages. Sure to be a noble experience.<\/p>\n

Dates:<\/strong> May 5-7, 2017<\/p>\n

Average Ticket Price:<\/strong> $550 (GA 3-day festival ticket and camping pass)<\/p>\n

3) Electric Daisy Carnival \u2013 Las Vegas, Nevada<\/h3>\n

\u201cFrom dusk till dawn under the electric sky\u201d – That is what Electric Daisy Carnival<\/a> (EDC) is all about. Every year thousands of visitors flock to Las Vegas to experience the most epic festival in the United States. Electric Daisy Carnival is unlike any other EDM festival offering fireworks, light installations, and an entire carnival filled with rides and games. Like nothing you will ever experience anywhere else.<\/p>\n

Dates:<\/strong> June 16-18, 2017<\/p>\n

Average Ticket Price:<\/strong> $450 (GA 3-day ticket)<\/p>\n

Expert Advice:<\/strong> Go to a sports good store and invest in a Cool Towel. You will be sooo glad you did. Remember, EDC is during the hot Vegas summer. A cool towel will keep you cool all night long. Also, don\u2019t drive! Take the shuttle to avoid the traffic stress.<\/p>\n

\"7<\/p>\n

4) Tomorrowland \u2013 Boom, Belgium<\/h3>\n

The pinnacle of all electronic music festivals! Tomorrowland<\/a> goes beyond any other festivals by creating an entire community around the music. Daily newspapers, exclusive radio stations, markets, restaurants, and more! There is so much to do and see here, 4 days is hardly enough time. As Steve Aoki put it, \u201cWhatever problems you have, it doesn\u2019t matter here. Here it\u2019s about the love.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dates:<\/strong> July 21-23, 2017 (Weekend 1) & July 28-30, 2017 (Weekend 2)<\/p>\n

Average Ticket Cost<\/strong>: $1,100 (2x GA 3-day festival pass and Dreamville camping in Spectacular Easy Tent)<\/p>\n

Expert Advice:<\/strong> If you are planning to camp in Dreamville, upgrade to a solid floor (i.e. spectacular easy tent) or prepare for your tent to get flooded out. It rains and pours on the regular here. Come prepared with raincoats, rain boots, and anything else to keep you dry.<\/p>\n

\"7<\/p>\n

5) Creamfields \u2013 Daresbury, Chesire UK<\/h3>\n

Taking the name as \u201cBiggest Dance Festival in the UK\u201d, Creamfields<\/a> offers a wide-array of DJ\u2019s, as well as, live acts, insane carnival rides, camping, and tons more. There\u2019s nothing quintessential about this festival. Be prepared for the crazy! Like Tomorrowland, Creamfields offers flight, hotel, and camping packages for those looking for that extra experience.<\/p>\n

Dates:<\/strong> August 24-27, 2017<\/p>\n

Average Ticket Price:<\/strong> $500 (GA festival ticket and 2 person camping pass)<\/p>\n

Expert Advice:<\/strong> Of all the festivals on this list, Creamfields can be the most expensive for Americans. Be sure to bring plenty of drinks and snacks if you are camping to help with some of the costs. The pound is stronger than the dollar, so keep that in mind when you are purchasing things inside the festival.<\/p>\n

5) Nocturnal Wonderland \u2013 San Bernardino, California<\/h3>\n

For those who missed EDC or prefer a smaller crowd, Nocturnal Wonderland<\/a> is perfect for you. This festival offers all the mind-blowing stages, rides, and PLUR atmosphere that EDC offers only more intimate and waaay cheaper. Plus, they now offer camping. If you can\u2019t make it the whole weekend, they do offer single day tickets for sale. Something I wish existed at more festivals.<\/p>\n

2016 Dates:<\/strong> September 2-4, 2017<\/p>\n

Average Ticket Price 2016:<\/strong> $560 (GA 3-day pass and camping pass)<\/p>\n

Expert Advice:<\/strong> If you are camping, bring an Easy-Up Tent for added shade. If you are driving, consider heading out a little early to beat the traffic. In my opinion, the traffic was lacking some organization. More like a free for all getting out of there.<\/p>\n

\"7<\/p>\n

6) Groove Cruise \u2013 Los Angeles, California<\/h3>\n

Just when you thought festivals could not get any better, they took it to the open sea. All aboard this massive Carnival cruise ship for the Groove Cruise<\/a>, an unforgettable 4-day music festival. Cruise to tropical house beats while you sail from Los Angeles, California to Cabo, Mexico. Dance to popular DJ\u2019s while enjoying all the regular accommodations offered on Carnival cruises. Make sure to pay a visit to the jellyfish room.<\/p>\n

Dates:<\/strong> October 6-9, 2017<\/p>\n

Average Ticket Price:<\/strong> Cabins range from $729-2,300 depending on how many people in one room.<\/p>\n

Expert Advice:<\/strong> The staterooms turn into \u201cdorm\u201d parties. Come prepared to decorate your cabin door and bump your music to attract new friends walking down the hall. Every hallway turns into an open invite dorm party.<\/p>\n

\"7<\/p>\n

7) SnowGlobe \u2013 Lake Tahoe, California<\/h3>\n

Ring in the New Year at SnowGlobe\u00a0Music Festival<\/a> in the gorgeous Lake Tahoe. This festival does a great job at turning the summer festival vibe into a winter wonderland. Something no other EDM festival does. They offer food and drink vendors catered to the winter. Make sure to try their spiked hot cocoa. Come up early or stay late to enjoy the slopes! Catch me there this winter for the first time!<\/p>\n

Dates:<\/strong> December 29-31, 2017<\/p>\n

Average Ticket Costs:<\/strong> $200 (GA 3-day ticket and shuttle pass)<\/p>\n
