Why We Love These Water Bottles<\/h2>\n

I have tried lots of water bottles over the years, cheap ones, expensive ones, ones that spill water all over me when I drink from them! But overall I have not found one that is truly great that combines all the features that I am looking for: stylish design, reduced spilling, keeping water cool or hot and that is easy to take along with you.<\/p>\n

I have travelled to a few places with my Avana bottles and what I love most about them in hot climates is that the bottle keeps the water cold for up to 24 hours. During my latest trip to Malawi during a heatwave with 40+ degree temperatures, this was surely appreciated!<\/p>\n

Our plastic water bottle use around the world has become a serious issue and in 2019 became a real focus in the war against single-use plastics.<\/p>\n

A full 32%<\/strong> of the 78 million tons of plastic packaging produced annually is left to flow into our oceans<\/strong>; the equivalent of pouring one garbage truck of plastic into the ocean every minute. This is expected to increase to two per minute by 2030 and four per minute by 2050. With statistics like this, we can clearly see the problem we have with plastic consumption. This issue is not confined to just water bottles but it’s all single-use packaging, plastic bags, and even plastic toys or products that wind up in landfills or our oceans.<\/p>\n

As consumers, we all need to look at our daily lives to see how we can contribute to reversing or at least stalling this growing plastic pollution problem.
